Camin Cargo Control and Tankoil Group Partner to Boost Energy Inspection Services in North Africa

Camin Cargo Control Holdings, a global leader in independent testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services for the energy sector, has announced a strategic alliance with Egypt-based Tankoil Group to strengthen its presence across North Africa.

Headquartered in Alexandria, Tankoil Group is a prominent TIC provider with ISO 17025–accredited laboratories and a growing footprint in both North Africa and the Middle East. The new partnership will extend Camin Cargo’s coordinated services to key markets, including Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Mauritania.

Through the alliance, clients will gain streamlined access to petroleum, petrochemical, mineral, metals, agricultural commodities, and solid fuel inspection services across the region.

“North Africa and the Middle East are at the heart of global energy flows, with critical links to Europe, India, and the Americas,” said Fernando Assing, CEO of Camin Cargo Control. “This alliance with Tankoil Group allows us to offer seamless, highly coordinated, real-time testing and inspection services in one of the most strategic regions in the world, further strengthening our global reach.”

The partnership builds on Egypt’s growing role as an energy hub, anchored by the Suez Canal, SUMED pipeline, LNG export facilities, and expanding refining and petrochemical assets. It also enhances coverage in Libya, which holds Africa’s largest oil reserves, and Algeria, a key supplier of oil and gas exports to Europe.

Neil Chapman, Vice President of Global Business Development at Camin Cargo, added: “By combining our global expertise with Tankoil’s regional knowledge and laboratory infrastructure, we are equipped to deliver inspection solutions that provide confidence, consistency, and transparency across the Mediterranean trade routes.”

The move reflects Camin Cargo’s broader strategy to deepen its global network in critical trade corridors. In July, the company announced a similar alliance with Stewart Inter Sea to expand crude and petroleum inspection services in West Africa.
